This project involved the construction of a three-story single-family residence, including one below-ground level that accommodates a garage, technical rooms, and storage areas.
With a total construction area of 993.5 m², the home is located within the Sintra-Cascais Natural Park, in Malveira da Serra, surrounded by the region’s stunning natural landscape and offering panoramic views over Guincho and Cascais.
The exterior features white and brown-toned concrete finishes, carefully selected to blend harmoniously with the surrounding environment.

Situated on a steeply sloped plot, the residence is positioned at the central high point of the terrain, following the guidelines of the approved development plan.
The lower floor is accessed via a gently inclined ramp on the southwest side, leading to an underground garage with space for four vehicles, as well as all the home’s technical and service areas.
At the entrance level, the interior opens directly onto a spacious terrace through large glass doors. This terrace serves as a scenic promontory overlooking the mountains and sea, while also connecting to the pool and garden areas. The middle floor, which serves as the main entrance level, contains the living spaces — kitchen, living room, and dining room — along with a suite designed in full compliance with Portugal’s Accessibility Decree-Law.
The upper floor, arranged in an L-shaped configuration, contains the private areas of the home — the bedrooms. It is framed by two outdoor terraces at either end, connected by a narrow balcony that also provides shading for the openings below, enhancing both comfort and aesthetic balance.
The design emphasizes a fluid connection between indoor and outdoor spaces, achieved with minimal alteration to the natural terrain. This creates a seamless living experience that integrates beautifully with the surrounding landscape, maximizing both the mountain ambiance and ocean views.
